Why not use this impasse to build a Keystone XL oilsands railway mega-tankcar delivery system, this could spur more North/South railway building throughout both Canada and the USA. The rail could move all types of commodities including paying VIA & AMTRAK passengers. Or consider a rail/pipe-line combination, since many oil and natural gas pipelines parallel roads and highways, in addition to the electrical grid.

Just think---there could be a really popular excursion between Fort McMurray, Alberta to the Alamo in Texas!
