Our longtime colleague and full-time friend Ray Kosakowski will retire at month's end. A sales rep who most recently served the magazine's eastern and north-central United States and eastern Canada territory, Ray has been with us for 14 years and he's served the rail industry for a lot longer than that. He's made a difference here. And he'll be missed, big time, as Progressive Railroading Publisher Steve Bolte notes. Ray will make one final stop on the long and winding industry trade show circuit — he'll be with us at the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association's Centennial Connections Convention in Atlanta, April 27-30. So, if you're at the show, stop by our booth and say hello. Help us send Ray off in style (or, more appropriately, the lack thereof). Creativity is encouraged.
