Popke recently contacted a range of suppliers of special trackwork — companies that produce and market turnouts, switch point guards, insulated joints and frogs, among other components — to find out what's new and/or tried and true in this specialized market segment. Respondents included representatives from Atlantic Track, L.B. Foster Co., Progress Rail, voestalpine Nortrak and Vossloh North America. You can read his story here.
