One new message: LaHood must go

Transportation Secretary has accomplished little during his tenure

Since assuming the responsibilities of Transportation Secretary, Ray LaHood's tenure has been centered around distracted driving. Well, allow me to send a text to Mr. LaHood while I sit here at my desk, about 100 yards from the hazard zone known as my car: I wish you nothing but the best, but please go."

As I've mentioned before, I suspect we might be doing Mr. LaHood a disservice; the real problem is that the administration hasn't got a transportation policy, and no administration has back to Nixon.  Hard to intelligently administer something that isn't there at all.

  • The US Transportation Policy is set up strictly to fund OPEC.

Here's the 3-shift/day funding formula---$1,000,000,000 - every - 8 hours or $3,000,000,000 per day to fuel the worlds largest 4 million mile concrete rat maze!
